Marrakesh has a very special place in my heart. Having spent time on artist residency in Morocco I came to feel a deep sense of belonging, the people, the city’s ancient architecture, and in particular the juxtaposition of gritty crumbling walls with exquisite soaring archways and mesmerising geometric tile designs are endlessly fascinating to me.
