This painting is part of the Humming Light collection, a celebration of an energy of life, and exploration of the mysticism of the Otomi people of Mexico, in particular the hummingbird, during my time on artist residency in Ajijic, Lake Chapala, Mexico.
I am thrilled to have had this painting selected as finalist in the John Richardson French Residency award by Hambly & Hambly Gallery, Enniskillen.
This painting was also selected by curator Sergio Gomez to be part of the “Encounters With Light“ exhibition currently available to view with the 33 Contemporary Gallery, on Artsy.net
